WinkBall offers a direct communication channel between prisoners and their families.

Using a secure interface and an authorised list of contacts, inmates would be able to send and receive video messages to and from those most vital to their rehabilitation.

Going to a prison in person can be challenging for many people, for reasons of distance, cost and convenience.

WinkBall video messaging acts as a pathway around these obstacles allowing families to connect more frequently.

Estimates suggest that more children are separated from their parents by prison than by divorce every year.
